jQuery GoogleMaps can be used on a site's backend or frontend.
For the backend the plugin comes with a map editor that lets users, editors, and admins create their own custom map, which they can save and embed on the frontend using the plugin's map view mode.
The plugin includes support for adding custom shapes, lines, and markers on top of the map, and also working with custom Google Map styles (skins).
A demo map editor is included with the jQuery GoogleMaps download package.
Usage instructions are also included with the plugin's README file.
